Carregfelen is a wonderful 14th Century Manor House set in a private country estate on the edge of Snowdonia, close to the coast. The house is full of antiques and family memorbilia and the garden was designed by Clough Williams-Ellis, whose Italianate Village, Portmeirion, is close by. A welcome pack of local produce is provided and a basket of logs for chilly evenings. Wireless broadband is available. |

From Porthmadog take the road towards Criccieth. Just before Pentrefelin there is a closed gate on the right hand side that leads onto the Wern Estate. |
