In a superb location at the foot of Snowdon, 5 miles north of Beddgelert, this unique former station now has all modern comforts, plus the added attraction of being a halt on the restored narrow gauge Welsh Highland Railway. Now a listed building, the cottage is held at Visit Wales 3 star status only by the decisions of its builders back in the 1870s, who then needed space for just a waiting room and ticket masters office. With mountains all round and the coast just 8 miles away this cosy old stone building provides a tear round holiday venue. |
